چکیده
Three new species of free-living marine nematodes from intertidal sands in Xiamen, Fujian province are described and illustrated. Bathylaimus denticulatus sp. n. can be distinguished by a relatively small buccal cavity with its second part armed with two distinct teeth, short 2-3 μm labial and 12-16 μm cephalic setae and amphids of 0.8-0.9 turns. Oncholaimus minor sp. n. is characterized by its relatively small body size and the sexual dimorphism in tail shape. Oncholaimus xiamenense sp. n. is identified by pronounced sexual dimorphism in tail shape, the location of postcloacal tubercle (3/4 of the distance from cloaca to tip of tail), the location of female ovary as well as the demanian system (on the right side of the intestine), the number of circumanal genital setae (12). The types are deposited in the Third Institute of Oceanography, SOA, Xiamen.

Three new and two known species of free-living marine nematodes of the family Ironidae from the East China Sea are described and illustrated. Conilia sinensis sp. nov. is identified by the relatively large body size (1883-2399 µm); the well developed lips; the number, shape and length of spicule (single and striated, length 87-100 µm as arc); the shape of telamon; the number of supplements (1)....

In deep-sea sediments from the Sea of Japan, two new species, Halichoanolaimus brandtae sp. n. and Siphonolaimus japonicus sp. n., were found and described. Siphonolaimus japonicus sp. n. is characterized by having short anterior sensillae, body length of 3670-4500 μm, buccal cavity with axial spear, and length of the spicules. Halichoanolaimus brandtae sp.n is characterized by the number of am...

The dataset of free-living marine nematodes of San Antonio Bay is based on sediment samples collected in February 2009 during doctoral theses funded by CONICET grants. A total of 36 samples has been taken at three locations in the San Antonio Bay, Santa Cruz Province, Argentina on the coastal littoral at three tidal levels. This presents a unique and important collection for benthic biodiversit...
متن کاملA Preliminary Study of the Microbial Resources and Their Biological Activities of the East China Sea
East China Sea is one of the four sea areas in China, which possesses peculiar ecological environment and many kinds of living creatures, especially the microorganisms. We established the East China Sea microorganism library (during 2006-2010) for the first time, which stored about 30000 strains that covered most kinds of the species. In this paper, 395 pure strains of East China Sea microorgan...
